Another C-Beam machine

Long time lurker here! Learn a lot reading through the magnificent stuff one can find here.
Decided to post my build of recent C-Beam variant mill.

So...today progress:



X and Z gantry attached to Y plates...



... and installed on Y linear rails



X axis has additional 2040 V-slot rail....to counter the spindle weight? Will see.



Mechanical parts done...except for spindle holders...will cut 'em tommorow.
Next is electronic. I will try that Chinese Mach3 USB controller hooked to 4xDM542s.

Today was controller box making day:




Still need to wire limit swiches....

Forgot to take the pictures of finished one with golden plates...but have few pics of the silver mica one.They are basically identical except for the spindle motor; golden one has 2.2kW spindle on it.



Both friends are happy with their new machines...and of course...the third one wants one too!
So, I'll already started to work on it...this one will have red metallic plates.
