Core XY Beast

UPDATE: I have uploaded the solidworks files of the entire assembly, as well as a DXF of the finalised profiles to cut, a few more images.

I have ordered the aluminium plates to be wterjet cut and tapped. should be ariving next week, i will try and keep this updated.

Super solid core xy build. heavily inspired by the e3d tool changer (obviously). this is a work in progress, i have all the hardware, working on getting the plates water jet cut at the moment.

XY motion uses hiwin mgn 9/12 rails, the z axis is mounted on 2 13mm THK rails that i salvaged from work.

I plan to cut all the plates from 6mm aluminium, took me a long time to get to this belt arrangement but im relatively happy with it now, everythings nicely aligned.

Build volume : x 300mm, y 300mm, z 350mm

Designed to make use of the e3d Hemera, but also intend to use a dual bowden setup and to be able to easily change between the two configurations.
