Dash-X is a Cartesian 3d printer, the third major evolution of this design. Having tried both HBot and CoreXY, I am currently of the opinion that the best results derive from machines with isolated X, Y and Z axes.
This design utilizes a cross-beam drive, similar in concept to the Ultimaker but beefier. It makes heavy use of Openbuilds wheels and V-Rail -- in fact there are NO linear bearings whatsoever.
The speed and quality of this printer have proven to be very good, significantly faster than the Creality products (which I like quite a lot).
I am posting the Solidworks Pack-and-Go file and a zip file containing all of the IGES files. If you require one or more STL or 3MF files let me know. Also please find a zip file with customized Marlin 1.1.9.
There are several purchased items, links are provided here as well.

Note: in the video I call the rotary shafts "fiberglass". That's incorrect, they're actually solid carbon/graphite fiber shafts. They are properly linked in the parts list.

Special Notes
This is NOT a project for a rank beginner. Also you will need access to a well-functioning 3d printer to make the parts.
The belts I used are Gates Powergrip GT2 2mm. These are a significant upgrade from the typical no-name belting: less running friction, reduced riding-up on pulley flanges, superior tensile properties, more flexible.
