I've been using my Sphinx CNC Cbeam for about a year now and it's done wonderful. I decided to upgrade to thicker plates and use ballscrews / linear railing for additional stiffness. Attached are some of the build pictures, and I've attached the models for all the plates. I had to drill out a few of the holes slightly, but it matched up pretty well.
I was worried about cutting out the plates on my original Sphinx, but after downloading the millright app on my tablet that helped calculate feeds / speeds, It worked superbly. Here is the first time I cut aluminum:
Since then, I've doubled the feedrate and went up to 17000 RPM on the spindle and it cut even better.
