Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus - Major rebuild.

Hi folks!

I'm brand new here, and this looks like a great site. I bought my first 3D printer about a year and a half ago. It was a Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus, It's a very nice printer for the money. I did my learning on it and made numerous modifications and improvements.

The original build volume was 200x200x110mm. About a year ago, I expanded the build volume to 200x200x330 and it works great. But I wanted even bigger. I have been gathering the materials to make it 300x300x330mm. (possibly higher eventually)

Someone on the FB users group turned me on to OpenBuilds. I decided it was time to get busy. I had planned on modifying the original frame to make it bigger, but when I saw the reasonable cost of OpenBuilds extrusions, I changed gears and got thinking. I put together an order and received it a week or so ago. So I'm just getting started. I'm designing on the fly and engineering and printing any additional parts I need as I go.
