      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I have installed OpenBuildsFusion360PostGrbl.cps per the instructions and Fusion now produces a .gcode file that OpenBuilds Control will load and execute except for Z moves which are being ignored.<br />
<br />
How should an Acro 1510 be configured to allow use of the Z axis?<br />
 None of the options available in the wizard fit my setup for tooling, I need a function like a router or pen plotter where the tool is lifted while moving between tool paths.<br />
 I can jog and home Z but it never does anything after...<br />

seeking some advice - currently on version 1.0.388 <br />
the program has stopped working as of 2 days ago , under log/serial it is stuck on &quot;checking for updates&quot;<br />
the GUI is also behaving out of ordinary (minimize, maximize and close buttons not working)<br />
-no firewall<br />
-tried reverting to previous versions<br />
<br />
recently did some messing around with VS studio code on computer which might have installed something that has messed with the software, as of now all of it is uninstalled.<br />

any advice...<br />

I&#039;ve been using a Lead 1515 for awhile now with no issues. Just yesterday I started having jogging issues. I did not change anything, all wiring is still in place and secure. The CNC works perfect still, I just can not continuous jog with the controller. It acts like Im manually pressing the buttons on and off. Please see video for better explanation of the issue. <br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[When I home my machine (Blackbox X32, Control) it works fine, but the machine coordinates are set to X-995, Y-995, Z-5.<br />

Can someone explain where these numbers come from?  It does the homing sequence, then backs off the switches by 5mm in each direction.  Why aren&#039;t the machine coordinates at X5, Y5, Z-5.  If the switches are zero, that seems like the logical machine coordinates to be at.<br />

I&#039;m hoping it&#039;s just a setting somewhere that I can&#039;t find. =)]]></content:encoded>

Is that possible/easy to do?<br />

Reason I need it is the straight M3 isn&#039;t firing on time.<br />
I tried changing all of them to M3 S1000 with the same result.<br />
I then tried the above and it fires perfectly.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I just received a new genmitsu 4040 Pro Max. It is homing fine and jogging in the correct directions but when I go to probe it alarms out when touching the probe. It is giving an Alarm 3<br />

I just tried to replicate but it didn&#039;t error this time when touching just said it worked but didn&#039;t set the z zero and didn&#039;t pull back off of the surface like it does for my anolex. I just moved the z axis up and it alarmed.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Is there a macro or modified version of the control software that allows you to choose the long axis of movement in the surfacing wizard? My open builds has a smaller X than Y axis (how I received it) so when I&#039;m planing boards the wood grain usually goes in the Y direction and I&#039;d prefer the surfacing option to go up/down vs side to side. Feels like something that should be in the software but some searching I have seen others mention it and no clear fix other than create a macro or modify...<br />

I need some help probing xyz on my sieg x2 mini mill.<br />

It&#039;s able to probe something that&#039;s not conductive on its surface using the XYZ probe I.E. Anodized aluminum, wood, etc etc.<br />

I&#039;m having trouble trying to figure out the XYZ probing for something that has continuity with the endmill/spindle.<br />

I decided to go with a tool setter and 3d touch probe setup. <br />
<br />
I found a tool setter macro on the forum, so I think I can get that to work. The 3d touch probe seems straight forward...<br />

If I am going to send a lot of bytes, one needs to know when the buffer is full so that one does not overrun the buffer.<br />
