did you try to hold your belt in the slot, may be vibration (mine does that)
As the title says, I want to know if there is anyone here using SolidCAM combined with Mach3? If you do, which post processor (which "CNC-Machine)...
He is just crazy :P Recommended cut specs from Gwizard for mdf would look like that: Rough cut: 1/4" 2 flutes Carbide endmill 4mm cut depth RPM:...
What feedrate/spindle speed do you use? What type of wood and aluminium did you use?
Why do you say it isn't? You can cut aluminum with it, why not hard wood?
Just watch out with dust
Don't be so sure :) You can use the bottom motor bolts. [IMG]
Pretty easy, you just need a motor shield and Im sure there is a simple library for it
@Scooter You don't have the space for a bigger hole in the motor. But you can easily make another hole and don't use the screw from the motor
They will be synchronised with the software (very easy with Mach3) and yes you will need a 4 axis driver for that. You can also use the same...
Normally people just use a small gas piston to counterbalance the weight
I have a Nema23 too with a 1.5kW 65mm spindle and in still creeps down when not powered.
Good luck with your sell :) But if I were you, I'd remove the Win7Pro key from your picture :P
I'm adding a 24V electromagnetic brake to mine... Just have to find how to make it work with mach3
they are the same as the one on OB store, and yes robotdigg have antibacklash nuts
Can I ask why anyone doesn't simply use the OB screws? This is just a 3D printer, there's a lot of other factors that will have to be checked...
I did it minutes after taking the picture, I was just too excited to show it to you all :)
Hey guys! Want to do a cheap little upgrade to your OX? I just did one side yet ;) [ATTACH]
The board is upside down (the cork will go under. It's meant to concentrate the heat to the top (no loss from ambiant air)
The traces are based on the Prusa board design
