I like the idea of using high quality components. From your pictures I can see you have put some real care into this build. You should be proud.You listed some MKS products and I disagree on those being top quality, actually in fact most of their offerings are low quality rip offs of other companies good products. For the controller board, may I suggest a Smoothieboard (You can get it right here on Openbuilds Part Store) It is great quality, open source, and ecxtremely good at what it does.
