Is it possible to use an air powered spindle on a cnc machine? I seem to be running into issues with the weight of my electric router and so I was looking at buying a lighter, weaker router like the bosch colt but then I realized I have a small air compressor(maybe 80 PSI?) and I thought maybe it could drive one of those air grinders or something that would be light and do the job but give me an air grinder too.

    Something like this http://www.amazon.com/Variable-Grin...8233&sr=8-9&keywords=pneumatic+variable+speed

Makes sense, but he is using it as a cutoff tool like a dremel so I am guessing you can't force the cut.
