Having trouble getting wifi to work and finding any solution online has been a miss. I've ordered black-box x32 and the interface touch. The interface touch is back ordered so I'm stuck trying to run jobs through wifi.

In grbl settings 74 and 75 have my network ID and passcode to connect to, but I am having no luck getting it to work. There must be something I'm not understanding, but after 5 hours I'm looking for a sledgehammer for this thing.

Edit: Switching to my 2.4ghz network seems to have solved the issue.

Should just need SSID and PSK. Save. Hit reset button on BlackBox so it boots up with the new settings.
Once back up, check $I from Serial Terminal to see if it got an IP.

Figured it out. As soon as I switched it to my 2.4ghz network it worked.

I am also having trouble with Wifi
My Blackbox X32 reports a valid IP
    [21:06:12] [ $I ] [WIFI MAC:94:B5:55:1D:65:2C]
    [21:06:12] [ $I ] [IP:10.0.0.138]

that's a valid ip for my network.
however I cannot ping that address from my laptop on the same network
nor can control find the x32 when I do a network search from OpenBuilds Control.
my laptop IP is 10.0.0.108 and there's no reason I can think of that there wouldn't be a valid path to that endpoint, I have no trouble with other devices on the same network.
gateway is 10.0.0.1 and subnet is 255..255.255.0
yes I have tried hard reset and power cycles.
