The stepper motors I have are 23HS30-2804S. They are 269 oz, 2.8A motors. I am planning on getting an Ethernet SmoothStepper motion controller. I was about to pull the trigger on some DQ542MA drivers from the OpenBuilds store, but then I found DM542T drivers for a bit less money at StepperOnline and Amazon. In fact, OpenBuilds seems to be the only place that has the DQ version? Is there a difference? They are both 4.2A drivers which is more than I need but leaves room for upgrades. To connect the drivers to the smoothstepper, will I need a BoB? Recommendations? Or can I just connect them with ribbon cables?
