You'd first need to provide more info:

    What kind of controller
    What stepper drivers
    What motors
    What machine
    Current setting on stepper drivers
    Power Supply Voltage

How far did you turn the stepper current adjustment potentiometers? halfway? All the way? (full scale = 2.5A, so whereabouts did you set it? Halfway = 1.25A, 3/4= 1.875A
Anything above 1.5A would need a fan blowing on the board

your on the limit with the xpro with those motors without heat sinks and fans

Taking a second look at those stepper motors they are not great, holding force is 12.6 kg-cm (1.24nm or 175 in oz)

Imho for the size of machine (1500x1500) its very under spec'd I would go with 4 drivers (DM542 or DQ524MA) and some steppers over 250 in oz - on the x and y, psu wise 24 or 36v anything over 350w (14 amp) there a bit more pricey but Meanwell make some decent power supplies

Control wise you can go the mach3 or grbl route

If you look on the ooznest site you can see the pic's with the 2 fans over the xpro board
