I would like to mount a spindle on my Machinist lathe in place of the trim router I currently use. I find the trim routers do not hold up well to the heat they generate running for long periods of time and the bearings burn up. I was told a spindle would be better. Is this true? If so what is a reasonable priced 110vac spindle?
