Whenever I hit the pause command when running a job on the BlackBox x32, CONTROL v1.0.364, and attempt to resume the job by hitting the play command, I get no response by CONTROL to continue with the job. I have to hit stop job and then start job again in order to get CONTROL to continue to read the gcode. In prior revisions of CONTROL I could pause and then continue a job without issue. Has the pause button for a non-touch interface connection been changed or is there a setting on CONTROL that needs to be updated to allow for a continuation after a pause? I also am unable to adjust the run speed of the NEMA23 motors through the dials at the top of CONTROL while a job is running anymore. They adjustment bars let me move them and then immediately return to their original job starting position. If I wanted to adjust the overall motor speed, would I need to pause job and adjust and then resume job, or am I only able to adjust overall job speed prior to job starting? All equipment being used in OpenBuilds on a Lead CBeam machine.
Hasn't been any changes, but 1) is your X32 firmware up to date (Section 7.1 of the BlackBox Documentation) 2) screenshots of serial log terminal and Troubleshooting tab while paused and after clicking Resume (not run)
The firmware is up to date. I received a replacement x4 and the pause issue has seemed to resolve itself. When using the machine the x32 was originally purchased for, I'll attempt to recreate the issue.
Tested and Pause does work fine for the X32, so when you revisit, make sure BlackBox firmware and OpenBuildsCONTROL are both up to date
