I'm connecting two extrusions of V-slot with an L-bracket, but I need to know what length M5 screws are needed. My measurements in Solidworks suggest I need a 10mm screw, but I just wanted to confirm.

Edit: I just saw the note on the L-bracket page on the parts store. Should be 8mm.

The 10mm M5 screw is used on the corner brackets if you don't file the tabs

Use 8mm even for the black corners, and place the T-nut reversed in the V-Slot, so facing with the flange to the outside of the V-Slot. 10mm will be too long. For the L-bracket you can use the T-nut either way. Always file the tabs on the cheaper corners, it will make your build much better and it takes about 20 seconds to get writ of a tab ;).
