Hello Paul, I've just started the same journey with the same model last night. So far I'm missing one m5x60mm low profile screw but I might be lucky to use an M5x60mm pan head from Home Depot. We'll see on my next trip to the store. So far, the build is going nicely. I hated assembling the 46 or so roller bearing assemblies, as it made my palms look like I had stigmatas, but I'll live. lol. I've been reading up on this build quite a bit. Do you have any particular tips of your own that might prove to be gems of knowledge for this newbie Workbee owner? Mary, As the newbie here, I just want to say hello and I look forward to visiting this forum often. Cheers, Frank
Hi Frank, I think you will like the Workbee 1010, I think following the videos seemed to work for me, had to repeat some of them to make sure what I was looking at. I had great help from customer service early on in the build. I will say that checking and rechecking your machine squareness is going to help in the long run, don't hurry in this area. I used a square, had thought I would need to shim but I decided not to, I'm within 1/32". As I cut more I'll check squareness, also may need to verify the preload on the wheels. The machine is tight no vibration while cutting!!
