This is not an "open"builds! There is no BOM only a link to site selling the kit. Pretty disappointing
Bob's 3D Printer Kit Build
Build in 'Cartesian Style Bots' published by bobt, Apr 9, 2014.
I have wanted a 3D printer for a while. I had thought to convert my ShapeOko machine to a 3D printer BUT after looking at having to replace the electronics with new and the small form factor. I went looking for a kit which would do what I want. Well I found it. It is the MakerFarm i3v printer.

When I got the printer I was nervous. It really looks hard. But if you strap down and get to it it's really simple. Colin farrer is the owner and he is the most reliable person you can count on. I had this printer up in 10 hours and about 3 days worth of fixing.

I've learned so much about my printer by building it. Colin is a god send answering my questions almost as soon as I ask them. He answered me back in last then 5 minutes one night and help me find a mistake I made. So far this kit have produced better prints then my Da Vinci XYZ and I haven't finished tweaking it yet. I can't recommend this enough.

The build is excellent buying this kit is one of the best ways to get into the world of 3D printing and do it right at the same time. Collin who sells this kit has excellent and fast support to help you with troubles in your build. The build also has a set of mods to make the printing and setup easier and better for the tinkerer out there! :)
