Hello again, I pressed Pause while milling and after i resumed the spindle moved the cut 0.5cm to the left and continued the cut. is this a software error? i attached an image to see. thank you in advance.
Is it replicable? Probably hard to tell anything definitive without seeing the g-code around where it happened and a serial log of the period around the pause event.
I pause quite often, so shouldn't be. But yeah, try replicating, get the exact pattern of events that causes a mishap
ok i will try that and write here again. i have another problem tell me peter if i have to make a new thread to help others as well. The problem: in the same cut as before, when the spindle "dives" for the fist pass it is drilling off the designed area, creating like a tear. i will attach a photo. thank you again!
Sorry, but what do you mean by replicable? (i'm brand new in the CNC world..) and i forgot to copy the code... next time i will do that... thank you
Also need the gcode. Always include the gcode files for analysis Replicate = reliably reproduce the same error (in case it was a once off mishap instead)
Ok Peter. I will do that and post back. thank you again! another question... is it possible to turn on off the live position of the spindle? because after one update it doesnt show up.
