Just received my new LEAD 1010 and getting it set up. Will be using the black box.
I was looking into the Openbuilds software. The CAM generator seems clunky and doesn't import dxf files right. I get a lot of artifacts and the lines are not connected. I have tried exports from Coral and Fusion360. SVG seems to import better.

Was wondering if there is better software to use?
Is there a F360 profile for the LEAD 1010?
Has anyone used CAMLab or Carbide Create?
I have been using the Inventables Shapoko, will the black Box work with Easel?

    Thanks for any suggestions.!

DXF is but a file extension. What counts is you specifically want to use DXF R14 Polyline format. Refer to docs:software:file-errors [OpenBuilds Documentation]

    See docs:software:overview [OpenBuilds Documentation]

Our Fusion Post: docs:software:fusion360 [OpenBuilds Documentation]

If Easel generates Grbl compatible Gcode.

Thanks for the links! For reference, attached is a pic of what I get when importing DXF R14 (same as before) and the second is importing same file as SVG and is correct. Thanks again for your help, I'm sure I have a learning curve ahead of me.

Also convert your arcs, splines to Polylines :)

SVG is fine too of course, though be mindfull that SVGs can often lead to sizing issues (native unit of Pixels, has to get converted to mm, sometimes hard to know what DPI was used when exporting)

Include DXF files at attachment when you need us to check it out :)

Hay thanks for that information but now I have a more pressing issue. If you can point me in The right direction.

I started un packing my machine tonight and the parts packing sheet reads openbuilds Sphinx 1050 (20" x 40").
And there is only 1 1000mm (40") rail.
    I ordered the lead 1010.

I plan on calling in the morning. Thanks!
