    Hello
My lasersaur driveboard has recently died and I am thinking about using a blackbox controller.
I have a few questions that I would love some answers to...
Can I use the existing micro stepper drivers and motors?
Can I hook up the chiller so that the machine will only work if the chiller is working?
Can I use the existing magnetic proximity sensors/end stops?
    Any help gratefully received
    Best
    Aaron

You can reuse the motors, but the drivers can go on a shelf for a future project as the BlackBox has onboard drivers

Depending on the signal the Chiller puts out, yes. You can use the Door input as a pause when the chiller faults out. May need a Grbl recompile but not too hard.

Been about 7 years since I last played with a Lasersaur, can you refresh my memory on what kind of sensors they used?
