I have some spare parts around from old 3d printers, including a controller. Could this be used as a start for this? I guess the question is if this project uses gcode like everything else or if something new has been invented

Yes, I had just briefly looked into the linked projects. However, I am mainly interested in the tablet version, as well as the multicolored embroidery.

THE AUTHOR (@sausagePaws) HAS SHARED WHAT THEY ARE WILLING TO SHARE - THAT APPARENTLY DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ANDROID APP.

If you read the whole thread you will find explanations on how to find files that have been shared, and how to use them to get things like stl's.

You will also find links to similar projects to be found elsewhere.

I will not respond to personal messages about this project.

je cherche juste a comprendre. J'ai des imprimantes 3d mais la je cherchea trouver un systeme adaptable a toute machine a coudre. Ce n'est pas hyper clair dans le projet. Apres si vous ne voulez pas m'aider je le comprend tout a fait.

Fantastic Design! Great job! I built an embroidery machine with XY belt and pinion drive (first version), now I want to build v.2 version. But does it make sense without a tablet (Android) program? Is there a chance to make the program available?

 

I do not think the program will ever be released

 

I'm not really sure why projects such as this are published on the Openbuilds platform. The very word OPENbuilds suggests to me that this community site is for sharing (and sharing everything) with others. There is nothing worse than captivating an enthusiastic builder only to find out that pictures are all you're going to get. I've no doubt the original author did put in a lot of time on his project but so do many others who share their work with the community.
