Since I got more and more into 3D milling within the last month and doing much more work on more challenging materials, I consider some upgrades for my Workbee 1010: linear rails and increased usable z-height.

I found some linear rail upgrades from different companies, some of them also increase the usable work height in z.

I'm located in Europe and shipping is from outside is often not really an option because of customs. So I concentrated on companies shipping from within Europe.

One of those is CNCGear from the UK. Is there anyone using their linear rail upgrade and can share some of his/her experiences?

    Thanks in advance!

There are a number off shops in Europe. Ratrig openbuilds in Portugal; Vslot-europe.com; ooznest.co.uk and makersupplies.dk.

I know Ratrig, that's where my Workbee is from.
But sadly, they (including the other companies you mentioned, but thanks for that!) do not offer complete upgrade-kits like those from CNCGear or like the CNC3D quenbe Pro where no V wheels are used and the overall stiffness is increased.

Keep an eye on Ratrig - I believe they are about to offer a linear rail upgrade kit.
