I running a BlackBox with a setup similar to the ACRO 1010 laser using NEMA 17 motors with only X/Y axis. I was running fine until my Y axis began to vibrate and no longer ran smoothly. I loosened the belts and found my Y1 motor was vibrating and not turning. I took another motor laid it on its back and plugged it in and it spun smoothly. When I placed it on its side, it vibrated and no longer spun. I tried this with the original motor with the same results. I switched out the black box with another (I have a CNC router as well) restored the GRBL settings with the same results.

    Thoughts?

Found it. One of the connections was not tight. So sometimes the motor vibrated and sometimes it spun. Looks good now
