I need some help, just finished an OX 1500 x 1000mm machine. I was doing the electrical today and on the Black Box I have Motors Enabled light on. No belts are installed yet as I was in the test mode today. I went to jog the axis it moves on my program, using the OpenBuilds machine interface software, it shows movement on the screen but physically no movement on any of the motors. Since the Ox was not listed on the drop down menu I used the WorkBee 1510 for my settings, is there any thing different i need to change for an OX machine. I would appreciate any help and tips to get get me through this.

    Thank You in advance
    Steve

This is not an attempt to insult your intelligence, but just something I have done a few times myself: Did you turn on the 24V power supply? If not, OpenBuilds Control is sending the commands to move, but the drivers have no power to execute those commands. Therefore, it will look like it is moving on the computer but the motors will be doing nothing.

Have you made sure the motor coils were paired properly? docs:blackbox:faq-identify-motor-coils [OpenBuilds Documentation]. Remember to shut off the power before doing any re-wiring.

Did you make sure your 24V power supply had the switch on the side in the proper position for your flavor of electricity (115V or 230). docs:blackbox:connect-psu [OpenBuilds Documentation]

    1) make sure 24v PSU is on, power is on, switch on BlackBox is on, and power connectors are seated all the way in. If 24V is up and running, the fan spins, and the logo has a RG LED behind it lighting up pale blue.
    2) if power checks out, make sure you have Enable Invert $4 =1(Enabled) set

Ok Thank you for the quick responses and it was my dumb *** self that made a dumb move, guess when I was plugging in my laptop to the power bar I some how hit the switch for it and did not notice the led on the power supply was off, once I realized that low and behold the motors have power and move physically. Speaking of power supplies, I am using a Meanwell 24 volt and is the fan supposed to be constant or is it running on a thermal switch. Thank You Again. Also is there any settings I need to change for the OX

Thank you in advance and again
    Steve

Thermally controlled. See the Meanwell LRS350 Datasheet PDF: Page 2
