You can't but 2.00 you can. It takes a install interrupt and it has reported issues. I might point you to the ReCube option for re-filling cartridge chips. DIY or eBay. Also nice to program chips to exactly what you put in the cartridge. Saved my bacon more than once. Good luck.

Hi, i have a slight issue i installed the unpatched cube v1.14B.ar file to my cube 3 and now when i go to firmware and select usb key and then i plug my usb with the new patched cube v1.14B.ar.orginal file and it says firmware download failed, what do i now? is it due to my usb as i am using a different usb to when i first installed the firmware or do i need to reset my cube 3 if so how do i go about doing that?7
yes the file in the usb is called cube v1.14B.ar.original, wait hold on i think ive just realised i need the new cube v1.14B.ar file which is created at a guess.
I got an ekocycle from my robotics team a few days ago and found this mod. I do not have any software for the printer to download prints or make them and the link posted on this thread for it now says "access denied". Also how would I use this stop counter mod on my ekocycle? Do I tear it apart and find the SD card and modify the hex values or would I use the site that isn't working and modify the hex values there and put it on the ekocycle.
Hey Widgex, just started going down the rabbit hole with this whole thing about 24 hours ago. If you'd like I was able to find an original working program to slice the files, Cubify, I believe the original software. This is where I found it. PART1_A-E - Google Drive I used cubify_3.04.exe and was able to print a little Easter Island Head no problem. Still working with some folks on how I can get the spool chip to freeze.
Hey Chief, like a donkey I went and gave my Ekocycle a flashing screen loop. When you say you pulled the SD card and replaced the Image695.hex file with the one from the unpatched .ar file, could you explain what that means? I have a modified .ar file and an "original" .ar file but am unclear how to get the Image695.hex. Thanks.
Not easily. I believe there is one for CubePro, but I don't know how usable that is for Cube3 (if at all).
Cube3 uses a proprietary and unique bias heating routine. You would have to add that in post processing. For every M104, you need to add a new line that is M204. Basically, Cubify heats nozzle 1 with help from nozzle 2 typically in the 155C range. The reverse is true also, of course.

Help please... I can not get any slicers to see my Cube 3 (stock 1.1.4b and on modded FW) Shows up in Device manager as Com9 serial to usb. Tried via WiFi and it says connected after selecting my wifi and password but ip always shows as (168.254.1.1 .. windows null address) Tried using a wifi adapter on my pc in Adcock mode ip shows as 192.168.1.3 it will connect for 3 seconds thr disconnect No apps see any of these 3 connections. What am I missing here
hi imnew at this but when i tried to open the link with a regular bwoser it trows me to a tab that says " This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. " i used this link: https://cubify.s3.amazonaws.com/Printers/Cubepro/cubepro_1.87.exe to get the file location but i don't really understand what an XML type of file is :/ i tired to find out if i have to use a diferent browser that supports that type of links but im confused

Hello I have a problem. They gave me a Cube 3 printer, when I turn it on it asks me to register it on the cubify.com website, when I enter it redirects me to 3dsystems.com/support/cubify but it won't let me register it because since July 2023 are no longer supported. Does anyone know what can I do? Is there a code generator?
Contact 3D Systems support. They usually help with this type of issue. I also have a printer that the last 4 digits of the serial number is the code. YMMV
Yup, now when you contact support for a pin code, they want you to pay them $129 to provide a 4 digit PIN. Any way we can by-pass the activation? Guessing the code is gonna take a while.
