I just finished my Openbuilds 1515 kit and have an issue with homing the machine as follows, First of all i'm sure i have overlooked a setting somewhere... When i go to home the machine the z axis doesn't go up to the limit switch at the top of the high z mod,the cycle stops before it hits the limit switch meaning i have to hit home again.When i do this the z axis moves to the limit switch then the machine will home just fine..Newbie here any help appreciated. Does the travel distance for the High z mod need to be set somewhere?
Yes, under Max Travel on the Grbl Settings tab. Have a read through github.com/gnea/grbl/wiki later on, its a goldmine of info, and a worthy read to ease your learning curve
