If one place is out then try one of the others. http://www.smw3d.com/ You could also try http://www.opensourceluthiersupply.com/
As Chad pointed out, you can usually find alternative suppliers for those type of items. My bigger concern at this point is extrusions. They are having a very hard time keeping the 500mm lengths in stock in any size.
brbubba, the 500mm lengths were a recent addition to the parts store and apparently they grossly underestimated their popularity. You can be assured they won't make the same mistake with the next mill run.
Thanks guys for all the pointers to other suppliers. Just to report http://www.smw3d.com/ Only has QTY (2) in stock. I need more than that so I probably will look else where. (Keep looking)
I just bought 20 from Maker Farm. Only $1.50 each. They came right away. http://www.makerfarm.com/index.php/hardware/eccentric-spacer.html Inventables also has a good selection of the same spacers.
their website doesn't not disclose if these are the 1/4" spacer either.... Openbuild put STOCK back up, but when I try to order them you are only allowed QTY (2)....
The mechanical drawing linked to the item shows a 1/4" dimension. http://www.makerfarm.com/media/cata...48d3568a5b89/e/c/eccentric_spacer_diagram.jpg
Confirmed by Colin, they have 1/4" by the thousands instock!!! I'm not 100% sure what they are measuring, but when I measure the spacer (Not including the part that sits inside the wood or metal part) it measures 6.4-6.45mm which is right about .250" (1/4") I have a few thousand in stock so I should have plenty.
Ratrig and CNC Kits claim to have the standard openbuilds 20 tooth model in stock. SPD-SI also has a 20 tooth model but not sure if it is the same.
Fuzztech also has the GT2 (3mm) pulleys. Anyone feel like giving a test to printing their own? http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16627
Rick, thanks for the links. Those off shore stores are expensive. and when they are not, the shipping is more than the parts. -nick
