So after my fairly poor choice of cables (well they are good cables, but i didnt consider bend radius) ive decided to at least get appropriate drag chains.

I dont want to order the wrong thing again, and there are many types. I dont want to spend lots of course.

    I see open/closed/inner opening/outer opening/both sides opening, etc. Etc..

    Looking for r75 or r100 i think.

Any advice on what is "best"? Ill then try and find that on ebay at a good price.

Thanks all, your advice has been invaluable.

Thanks for the reply, and im sure its a good chain, however i want something with an appropriate bend radius for my cables, and ideally a bit more space inside.

On a related note, im still a touch unclear on the "etiquette" here. Im spamming all my doubts and questions here, since you guys know your stuff and i get good, fast replies. Hopefully i can give back in the future.. Also, my chosen machine "blackbee" is based on openbuilds parts and i found it here., also im using blackbox for control.. However, if i should be limiting discussion solely to openbuilds parts/ecosystem, please let me know.

Robin, did you try AliExpress? They have a huge selection of cable chains and many vendors mention minimum radius in their description. That radius is, mostly, dependent on the size of the chain.

Ive never bought from aliexpress, first i find it quite confusing (prices often not clear) and second. Do things always arrive? Ive also found quite a lot on ebay, just wondering if theres a "type" which works best

LOL, if it comes from China then the people who sell on eBay are also the people that sell on AliExpress.

Ha.. Yes im sure that's the case, its more the fact ive used ebay forever, and they hsve some level of buyer protection. You do see lower prices on aliexpress so i should probably bite the bullet.
