Got the frame on the 1515 all squared away. Had some minor issues but lucky i have things from 3DPrinting so easy fix

getting ready to do wiring today, noticed the wiring is setup to have the BlackBox set at the back of the machine..? Why? Isnt it better front (ish) where you can do things like plug in USB easier? Something im missing with location? If i do decide to bring up front, my Y motor wires are going to be too short correct? But that is all...?

also. Dust? These electronics are all open in the box? So dust will blow right through?
Anyone put in a case or box with filters? Am i just over thinking it?
Thanks! Friggin thing looks awesome so far!

Very much a personal preference thing. On the machine is nice if you move the machine around a lot (like the video teams do around here). Personally, I like mine on the table, not on the machine. Do whatever you like! :) - extra wire and Xtension connectors available in the store: Electronics - Cables - OpenBuilds Part Store

There are folks on the forum/builds here that add a secondary enclosure, but I will also vouch for the fact that we see some heavily dust caked BlackBoxes still going strong. A little ventilation helps - so occasionally cleaning the heatsinks would be good maintenance

    Cool, thanks...
PS, not a big issue as i had parts left over from 3D printer builds. But the bag of 15mm M5 screws, all had like over sized sockets and stripped stupid easy tightening. Used my stock (which are openbuilds screws) and had no issues. Tool wasnt stripped or anything. All the rest of the screws/sizes are fine, just the 15mm long one. Might want to check the stock? Bad batch? Just saying so if there is an issue with more ya can catch it.

Best to alert the store on http://support.openbuilds.com/support/home to make sure the correct team gets on it
