The "Internet" cannot interfere with anything.. other than peoples productivity.. If you are referring to Wireless/Wifi, yes, WiFi can interfere with some devices, but not software, and Control is software.
Not it cannot, but what is the symptom you are attributing towards that? Let's help you understand what you are observing or what your actually curious about indirectly?
Sorry, let me rephrase the question. Is anyone having problems with their WiFi interfering with the openbuilds Blackbox.
It just seems while we are setting up to do a job a the Z axis will run up to the limit switch before we can run the job, if that makes sense. Other times no problems at all.
Any chance you had a stray elbow on the keyboard and jogged Z using the Keyboard? (See Wizards and Tools > Customize Keyboard Shortcuts) Or: Do you mean, right after clicking Run (i.e not exactly "before" as you stated above, but still "before" what you expect to happen) - in which case: Are you using Fusion 360? And if that is so, then the next question is: Did you remember to Home prior to running a job. This section assumes you're description is incorrect in that it doesn't move Z before the Run button is clicked, but actually After. Fusion GCODE uses Machine coordinate too, so forgetting to home, or not homing, or having homing setup incorrectly, can result in Z move crashes at the start of the job as machine coordinates are not properly established (homing sets machine coordinates, zeroing sets job coordinates) If you are not using Fusion, and the observation still applies that the Z move is "after" clicking Run, upload the GCODE file for analysis
This occurs after we are zeroed out and hit run. Not using Fusion 360. Just openbuilds cam. If we turn off the wifi it is fine. Driving me crazzzzzy.
Still strongly doubt it to be related. Do post the Serial log of a session: Load GCODE Zero Click RUN Runaway happens - if it slams into the switch, it should alarm (Hard Limit) The Serial Log should contain all those events - might have more clues
