I just bought 3 of these 1170 bundle kits V-Slot® NEMA 23 Linear Actuator Bundle (Lead Screw). Put them together and now I need help. I was going to upgrade my Fox Alien 4040XE to lead screw, but decided to just put together another frame. I will use my Fox Alien with my laser only. Taking my spindle and z axis off the FA and put onto open Builds. What parts would I need to make a complete kit, using these 1170 bundle kits 500mm with High Torque steppers. I have 3 steppers, and 3 qty 1170 kits 500mm, assembled, Black Box. What else do I need?
There're no existing machine design using those that I can think of, so you should start off pulling their CAD models into Sketchup, and designing a machine around it. All our parts have CAD models, so you can plan this all virtually and then compile a parts list.
