Hey everyone. First post here as I recently switched over from a SO3 machine to a Lead 1010. Loving it so far! I'm using the OB Probe Plus, and have a question about setting the z height. Probing for z appears to require setting the probe over the edge of the material so that it's measuring just the thickness of the plate and not the legs. Is this the intended orientation? The C3D probe I used on the SO3 machine allowed for setting the entire probe on top of the material which worked much easier to reset z after changing a bit for me, as sometimes the corners of the material were obscured by clamps and such. Is there a workaround by using a custom probe and adjusting the measurements in the probe wizard? Thanks in advance. Kyle
Same situation here coming from an s03 to a 1010. I just hold the probe on my surface. it's 9.10mm on a corner and 12.10 on the surface for my probe
Hi - where do you adjust the thickness setting of the actual probe plate? Does it not need the physical dimensions of the actual plate itself (I have the x & y dims in but can't see the z plate thickness anywhere). Thanks!
Bottom left corner: select Probe Type. If you don't have an OpenBuilds Probe select Custom then click the Gear to edit offsets (offset = difference between actual zero and probe actuation/contact positions)
