    unrelated to open builds, I will have to check out the easter eggs in this 2015 version. I remember the 2014 one has a built in first person shooter game, hidden well enough to make it a pain for me to bring it out.
    wonder what 2015 has in store...
    after all, nothing like a quick game after hours and hours of 3d drawing in cad.

    can't say I used all versions, some were not worth it, but I started in the 90s, when autocad was something like ver. 2.0 or so.
    however, regarding the 2014 easter eggs, I found out about them from the net.

    I supported R12 through AutoCAD 2000, people really didn't want to upgrade. It was great when the company I worked for dropped support for R11 through R13.

    I don't know why he keeps using it, especially since he complained he cannot find many 3d parts online in the r14 format.
    you know what they say, habit is a second nature..
