So I built my 1010 2 years ago complete with enclosure. Tested it and worked fine. Now I’m finally getting around to using it more (where does the time go?) and have a couple questions. First it’s fired up and running as well as the day it was built. 1. I added the handheld controller which is nice. Is there a way to pause the job and resume it with the controller? I can only see that you can abort the job. 2. Does anyone have any recommendations for an adjustable arm I can use to position my vac hose near the cutting area? I have a dust boot which works well for cuts with a short bit, but I’ve been cutting some foam with a 6” bit and the boot ends up too far away from the end of the bit to be effective. thanks!
Cancel button first pauses, then asks you if you want to abort. See the onscreen instructions. Also make sure your firmware is up to date (docs:interface:firmware-update [OpenBuilds Documentation]) (Should be on V1.52 at the time of this post) Checkout Swing Arm and modify accordingly for use in an enclosure
Thanks Peter! I think I found something that may work for the vac hose. I want it relatively close to the cutting tip and moving with it so if I can make this base mount on my z-axis channel it may do the trick. Rockler T-Track Flex-Hold Arm
