Model: Openbuilds Lead 1515 CNC with BlackBox
    Upgrade: RatRig Killer Bee

Issue: X-Motor will not stop moving on homing. But, will stop on manual triggering of limit switch.

Side Note: will be changing over to SN04-N end stops once I have the CNC working. This machine was working prior to linear rail upgrade.

Notes: KillerBee changed the Limit switch locations from where OpenBuilds originally placed theirs to the exact opposite ends due to cable management. In OpenBox software under Grbl settings I have changed the direction on all three axis "$3 Step direction invert, mask" and working as intended.

    Z homing works as intended.
X fails and keeps pushing into the end stop even though its LED trigger light is turned on, on the end stop itself.
Y Not tested due to X failing before reaching X limit switch.

Also tested and replaced the limit switch. Same result on X axis.

Any thoughts? I am assuming it something simple.

First question - when you jog the machine does X +ve move right, Y +ve move back and Z +ve move up?
Moving the homing switches would involve changing the $23 setting rather than the $3 setting.

Yes, I am sorry I should have clarified that. The change I made was to have the motors move in the correct direction when using the controller. So, yes. They do move in every direction correctly X-+,Y-+ and Z-+. Also when "Homing All" all the motors turn in the correct direction of the homing limit switch.

When Homing All the homing starts, Z-Homes and double touches, X motor starts to move limit switch triggers, turns red. motor moving trying to crush the limit switch. tried different wires for limit switch. still same issue.

It's fixed? Maybe? powered off everything, unplugged everything, rewired/plugged everything back in, checked over settings, no changes. homed all. Now working. Nothing changed. But, assume a bad connection or interference. Going to run all new shield wire and add grounds to each run. These new drag chains are much bigger than open builds. Nice for shielded cables and room for upgrades later. Now on to upgrading the limit switches to the SN04-N. Thanks for your help. If you have experience with the SN04 and blackbox it would be much appreciated.

Just had the same issue. It came out that I badly marked X and Y limit switches so they were swapped on the blackbox.. Make a double check if the x-trigger has triggered on X axis and if Y trigger is on Y axis :) Easy fix but might be not recognisable after hours of assembly...
