With my 3D printer I can pause the print and adjust the Z height (I would actually just start again on a 3D printer if there was an issue).

Is there a way to do this in OBCS? I know the correct answer is to get the Z height correct before starting any job, but I do have times where I wish I could tell it to pause, adjust Z down say 0.2mm then resume the job.

    Thanks in advance

    No there's not.

I'm going to mention this since I'm sure a lot of people dont know. But the quickest way to adjust the position of the machine relative to work home is by typing the position value into the DRO and pressing Shift + Enter. I use it all the time and much easier than rezeroing.

Shift and enter has become so much more powerful too with the display on the tool in the 3D View as well.

If a job failed, I can get the X and Y of a hole out of my original drawing, place my tool directly over the center of the hole, then hold shift when pressing enter on the X and Y distances when entering them.

It would be quite helpful for the Z function say if a hole didn’t go all the way through. I have a built in Z probe in my table but then boss doesn’t always check. He is getting better though, today he asked me the steps again and probed himself.

The reason why it’s helpful with the 3D View is that if I am right that hole appears directly under the tool in that window
