Is there a way i can default BlackBox (Dials for motor current) and grbl settings for my set up .. I want to see what it does "out the box" and go from there. Machine was baught used and "set up " .. I feel like a fresh start would be a good start.. Reason being is my machine is not being constant when moving manually or during actual run.. any help would be very helpfull.
set the dials to 'half way' grbl settings.... use one of the presets from OpenBuildsCONTROL GRBL settings tab Load machine profile select the Workbee 1510 tick if you have home switches click blue save icon at top left
I have this profile loaded..with few tweaks.. push off from home triggers about 5 mm each .. bumped up homing and rapid travel speeds.. 26.667 on X and Y .. 199.1 on Z .. other than those .. same as profile shown in your reply .. also.. how can i test output current to motors to ensure all motors are running same? i have 255 as motor delay (motors on always) ..they get warm.. not bad by any means.. just want to know im not stressing motors unecessarily and that they are recieving same current..
Have you checked the pulley grubscrews yet? Setting Max Rate too high can induce stalls, so if its not pulley slip, that is the more likely mistake. Very very unlikely to be motor current.
