Phantom Jogging and Job Pause

I searched in the forums couldn't find my issue. Please forgive me if it's in there some where. Here is what is happening, I think these two issues are related because they started at the same time. Using a 1010, with a blackbox, interface, and updated firmware.

After turning on my machine, I started to prepare a project (get material and files ready). I heard the machine randomly jogging on it's own. I watched and it is randomly jogging one step in the Y negative direction. Probably only does it once every minute or two. I tried blowing out dust from interface and black box thinking maybe there was a short of some sort. Tried resetting blackbox. Tried cycling power on the blackbox. Tried cycling power to whole system. I had a very simple project (1/8" endmill sign...one pocket toolpath) I really needed to get done so I decided to try it and see what happened. Periodically during the job, the machine paused and needed the OK key to be tapped to continue. I'm guessing the phantom jog happened and caused the machine to pause, but they could be unrelated.

What should I try next?

I wanted to follow up for others that may find this thread.
FIRST, I submitted the ticket and a new interface showed up in my mail box within days! Holy Cow, I was impressed. No additional questions or rigga-ma-role to go through.
I switched out the interfaces and was back up and running.
Unfortunately, now just a few weeks later a new problem has arisen and I'm pretty confident it is again the interface. One time the machine began making a random circular pattern and hung up continuing in a circle. After a reset it errored out half way through the job. On a third attempt the interfaced failed to respond period. I've submitted a new Support Ticket and will update later.

I tried to switch to using OpenBuilds CONTROL software to run my machine. I tried to different smaller jobs, both ran fine. Went back to the original project...first two trapezoids cut fine. Halfway through the third the machine stopped. Here are the last lines from the log. Could I have a short somewhere?

Ok...I must have gremlins. I'm working on grounding everything. Running a copper wire through the dust collection system. In the meantime, I began working on a laser project. 75% of the way through, something went wrong. About halfway through the cross hatch patch something shifted. See the photo. Note: dust collector not running. Sigh

 

I checked all the set screws, didn't find any loose ones. I had not changed any speeds, but did find a little dirt on the wheels...cleaned those. I noticed the collet had vibrated off of the router during the laser job. I suppose it could have been on the work surface and caused a problem. Shrug. After cleaning every thing up, moving my dust collection hose forward a little, and installing a bare piece of copper down the main collection pipe, I'm back up and running and will update if the problems are still present.
