I am new to the CNC world and know very little on how to run or operate one. Putting it together was the easy part. The step-by-step video was amazing but after it's assembled you are pretty much on your own. There is no formal training. I purchased Mozaiki Software and the one-on-one training I received was amazing. The first 2 hours are free and after that you purchase what you need for $75 per hour, Money well spent. Now if Open Build offered the same it would make their products that much better. Now I have to ask the forum for help and let everyone know how little I know. I am embarrassed to ask but I do not know how to resurface a spoil board. I realize there is a wizard, but I do not know to do it. I have a 1in bit and I have entered that and the measurements of the spoil board after I open up the wizard. I do not know how write the G code or to start the job and at what point do I zero out the bit
Don't be embarassed - the only silly question is the one you don't ask. We were all beginners once and we don't mind answering basic questions (although we tend to point you in the direction of finding things out for yourself - tends to work better). Start by googling cnc for beginners and watch as many vidoes as you can bear to, then come back here with specific questions. Alex.
