HI, Am facing frequent hard limit error while running my workbee cnc. screen shot enclosed. Help me out
If its a false trigger (axis really didn't hit a switch) its likely EMI: docs:blackbox:faq-emi [OpenBuilds Documentation]
1) Check all wiring making sure there aren't any accidental shorts / chaffed through wiring / etc 2) Climate changing (India is moving toward winter - colder weather increases likelyhood of static) 3) Damaged switches - switches itself can become faulty over time (hard hits, etc causing damage)
Ok Peter, i will have a thorough check on all cables and switches. Yes its cold weather over here, as you said may be the likely cause. or may be i will better change all the proximity limit switches to its mechanical counterpart. Thanks a lot Peter. Also a small doubt, measurement from the drawing from inkscape file is showing 1 to 2mm difference when imported to openbuild cam. The inkscape dpi i checked is set to 96. Is there any solution to it?
EMI is typically induced in cabling, so not particularly more robust to switch to Inductives (still same length of cable). If you have our Xtension Limits their onboard filtering are superior to most cheap inductives already. See the EMI FAQ again and make sure to space Limits wiring clear of other noisy cables Provide test cases / sample for us to check on. We try to guess the DPI from the version OpenBuilds-CAM/svgparser.js at master · OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-CAM
Yes, openbuidspartstore.com ships internationally Code: File: drawing (1).svg was created in inkscape version 1.1. Setting import resolution to 90dpi Make sure you are exporting at 90DPI, which should be the default for 1.1 Code: 1.1.1 (3bf5ae0d25, 2021-09-20) Its also a very old version of Inkscape - consider getting up to date Download Inkscape 1.2.2 | Inkscape instead
yes got it dpi96, but still the issue remains. But i found another solution to this and would like to share too, reduce the obect stroke style width to 0.001 then the imported svg image to ob cam shows exact measurements as in the original inkscape file. Thank you.
