Hey, guys. First post here. I'm almost finishing my ox build and I'm starting the electronic part. I was wondering if anyone can give me some indication on how to add limit switches. I have the arduino uno and the gshield. If someone has a link or instructions I would appreciated. Thanks Jlo
I tapped 5mm threaded holes y and x plates and mounted limit switches on extrusions (20 mm 5M bolts) so they Can be adjusted. Mounted z on side of extrusion so hits the plates at limits. Can't help on connections to your board. I'm using the xPro V2 and they have connections on the board.
Andrew, How did you mount your xPro? Can I see a pic of it mounted? I am trying to figure out the best way to mount mine. Thanks.
Not mounted yet. 3d printing an enclosure, using 16mm aircraft plugs, one each for each stepped, limit sw, spindle output, etc. concept is to keep it modular. Gonna build a separate button box with start, pause, and big e-stop button. Spindle controller inside with dual fans. Will post when done. Above is my two ports for flexibility. One for spindle voltage, one for sensor, etc.mpossible future 3d printing for extruder and thermistor.
