I have a millright probe. I've set the parameters up in the custom xyz probe section and it probes correctly. The issue is after the probe is complete the jog increments (.1, 1) are jogging 10, which I found out when I attempted to jog z down 1mm and it tried to go down 10mm through the piece of wood. It takes a software restart to fix this.

The probing code should not effect this at all. Sounds more like a calibration issue. If you do it again and send us the serial log after your jog down 1mm we can verify.

Ive tested this an cant reproduce it. Keep in mind that Control will default to 10mm after every restart. Maybe that's the issue?

When I get back home I'll run the process again. I'm not sure why it would be a calibration issue since jog (.1, 1) work fine prior to running the probe routine.

You are in continuous jog, not incremental. That's why its not jogging the distance you think it should be.

BUT, you are getting confused because the whole UI is screwed up. When in continuous mode, you shouldnt even see the incremental buttons.

So, be sure to select a machine profile in the grbl settings tab. That will clean up the ui. Before doing so, note any settings you have changed (steps per mm and such) and reapply them after setting a profile.

My bad. I didn't notice it had switched to continuous. Not sure how that happened unless it defaults to continuous with the latest update. I don't think I've ever switched it since I started using Openbuilds. Either way my apologies for taking up your time.

    Thanks!
