Just hooking up my spindle LED.

Followed directions. I get continuity from the end where it's plugged into the PSU to the posts on the back of the plug, so I know I have a solid wire from PSU to LEDs.

Looking at my picture, can you see anything wrong???

I also tried just using a 9v battery to see if I would be just a dim bank of LEDs...nothing.

    Possible this is DOA?

Yip LED- going into AC EARTH instead of DC- on PSU
Move black wire over one more terminal

9v is way too low for a 24v LEDs string, not enough forward voltage (6 LEDs in series, approx 3v forward voltage, needs at least 3*6=18v)

Just so you know, I watched the install video almost a dozen times. Take a look where they terminate ground to. You and I have been talking limit switches and DC ground, and I thought the exact same thing, this cant be right to go to AC ground. The video sure looks like AC ground though. I can see three screws from the right before the one used, so it was wired correctly in the video., but the angle does make the label look wrong. Old video though >5 years back, these days PSU should be used with PowerCase docs:powercase-v1.9:start [OpenBuilds Documentation]

Safer - no accidental access to mains terminals

    And

LED Ring wired for software control docs:blackbox-x32:connect-coolant [OpenBuilds Documentation]

Videos are nice for quick demonstration, but the authoritive source of wiring info will always be the Documentation, and always check video dates, often newer info in the docs (easier to update than reshooting videos)

Sadly I don't know, but contact the store via Support they will definitely be able to give you an ETA (different teams)

New stock will be the new v1.9 (linked above, older V1.6-1.8 docs is on docs.openbuilds.com too) so its worth the wait. Better mounting, rounded corners, new graphics etc. Just a little nicer upgrade to the old one.
