Hello, I have a problem with EMI interference Shielded wires, all grounded, a filter installed and as you can see, it does what it wants or goes in opposite directions, what else can you do??? I will add that when the spindle is turned off everything works normally
The link below might help. First thing to check is that your spindle has an earth connection on pin 4 of the connector on the spindle. thank you and how long can the cable from the VFD to the blackbox be? so as to muddy the inverter as far as possible?
I did a half hour project, everything came out great, no bugs but when I move the axes with the interface with the spindle turned on, there are problems with smooth movement and sometimes another axis will move without pressing the button is it normal and nothing to worry about??
Those are symptoms of EMI. VFDs create a lot of interference, but keep working at it, as per the FAQ linked above. Earthing most importantly
I have everything grounded I measured with a meter that pin 4, i.e. the mass goes to the spindle housing and the spindle housing is in the holder where the entire cnc frame is also grounded Could this cause an EMI loop?
whether to disconnect one thing the wire from pin 4 from the ground or the grounding of the frame to avoid the loop ??
Do NOT disconnect the earth lead from pin 4 on your spindle - that is an essential safety feature. If anything were to go wrong internally it stops you getting electrocuted. Alex.

Is everything connected to the same power strip I see in the video? you can get filtered power strip, and separate the vfd from the other things. Ground loops are harder to make than the internet will make you believe, if everything is connected to the one earth ground of your household wiring then everything is the same "ground". Hopefully your house is wired correctly and has no problems. Gary

No, same ground but don't power everything from same power belt or power strip, and use a filtering strip for the control power. Also can check with a meter if your grounding is correct at your outlet, look for Youtube video on how to check. For example;
