I thought I'd upgraded the firmware before I installed my new BBx32. However, when I tried to run the flattening wizard I received an error that was covered in this thread - Issue With Probe Wizard : Error1. So I then upgraded my firmware. I kind of thought I was in trouble when upon restart the spindle started to move (VFD). After unplugging that device I attempted to move the axis around - first Y, Z, and then X. All stopped working. In fact all it does is stop humming long enough for it complete the command (it things). So I reset the settings on the device and reinstalled the firmware. Did this a couple of times. I'm kind of stumped. Any advice?
But did you remember to load a machine profile again? CONTROL > Grbl Settings tab > Select machine from the list >Save > and Reset when Prompted It wasn't necessary to delete the Setting (no mention of it in the Firmware update instructions) but in doing so you wiped the key parameters that was set by the machine profile earlier
...so I guess I gave up too soon. Gave it one last go. Reset everything. reflashed, and reloaded my original settings and boom it works. Clearly something I did mangled the settings which caused my grief.
