Howdy all, In the last steps of completing a lead 1515 build. Bought a few extras with it, the xyz probe, the interface, ect. Few things im not finding in any build videos. 1: What are you all doing for cable management for your router cable? I got the ER11. What the best way to deal with the cable and powering it. 2: Not finding any "build videos" on the interface. No idea how to install it, configure it. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Any other ideas out there besides the swingarm for router cable management? That doesn't really flow well with the config of my workspace.
Here's my simple "temporary" router cable solution (well, ok, its been temporary for 3 years!) It cost me a nail to hang from the roof joist. My intention is (was) to cut a small wooden pulley to loop the cable over for strain relief. The Cable needs sufficient slack to cover all corners of the bed that's all.. Not pretty, but if you want something simple.....
Mine is the same way. I have it plugged in to a ceiling outlet and it just hangs down. It stays out of the way and can reach all sides.
Thanks guys, went with a swivel hook screwed into the ceiling. Seemed to be on par for modern engineering.
has anyone tried running the router cable through the drag chain? there is enough slack to run the cord along the x axis and about 3/4 of the way down the y axis which means there is the potential to have a plug at that location to plug the router into. Also has anyone ever cut the cord and made the cable longer? if so did it work ok?
got it! i was hoping that EMI shielding block that came on the router would be sufficient enough but was afraid i was going to get that answer. Looks like another trip to Lowes for some swing arm material!
If your router is a Makita, the “EMI shielding bulge” is actually just a plastic clip with anti-theft RFID tag inside. I took mine off to move it closer to the motor and discovered this.
