    Hello everyone,

I'm new to CNC and i'm setting up my lead 1515 for the first time so im a complete beginner. I wired all my motors and limit switches correctly and connected them to the x32 blackbox as per youtube assembly video. Everything seemed to function properly accept the x axis. I have the red x axis exclamation indicator light on. I checked all my wiring multiple times and everything is correctly wired. There was no sound generated from the stepper motor but all other motors had power so i tried swapping my motors and the issue is not the motor.I also tried switching my limit switches and its not a switch issue. Im at a bit of a loss as to what the issue might be. I don't think it has any relevancy but i'm running a macbook pro. Can anyone help? Is it possible i have a dud blackbox?

    Hello Peter

Ive reviewed your link and gone back to the drawing board. I tried adjusting the potentiometer for the x axis and cycling the power supply off/on and allowing everything to cool in between attempts. Nothing seems to be working. It doesn't seem to matter if the potentiometer is at its lowest setting or anywhere on its dial. I notice that whenever i turn the power back on it makes a plunk noise and is a red exclamation immediately. I am still in the belief that the x axis port on the black box may not be working.

Thanks, just making sure the current adjustments were done as part of initial set up. Please contact the store via Support > New Ticket for further assistance, including a link to this thread
