Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the Blackbox and the v32 but the first one. I am looking to utilize these steppers but don't know if the Blackbox can handle the current.

These are the specs for the stepper. Also, for future reference, how high of a current draw can the Blackbox handle when it comes to steppers. Once i get that figured out I wont have to ask this question again.

    Nema 34 Stepper
    Manufacturer Part Number: 34HS31-5504S
    Step Angle: 1.8°
    Step Accuracy: 5%
    Holding Torque: 4.5Nm (637oz.in)
    Rated Current/phase: 5.5A
    Phase Resistance: 0.4ohms
    Voltage: 2.2V
    Inductance: 3.5mH±20%(1KHz)
    Weight: 2.3kg

    Thanks

Yes they should run, but will be a little underpowered on amperage. Will have good acceleration and okay'ish top speed (coil voltage and inductance respectively)

Wow, you responded to that question really fast. Would upgrading to the x32 blackbox be a better decision? I really like the blackbox and don't really want to switch to individual drivers.

Only the X32 is available, the 4X is not supplied anymore. Identifical stepper drivers on both though, so no difference
