For anyone following this thread - I gave up on the GT-series VFD. I simply don't have the time to keep chasing random faults and issues with connectivity for the command signal. Instead, I exchanged the unit for an HY-series of the same size. The HY works without any modifications to the Blackbox, or its firmware. None.
