    Hello,

I'm starting to work on my first project and I've already run into some basic problems. I like the structure of the CNC OpenBuilds frame pictured below. The joining brackets look like standard 2020 brackets. I knew that the spacing would be different because the rails are orthogonal or perpendicular to each other. Rather than the slots being inline with one another the orthogonal centerline connection point is 10mm above the base of the bracket. I "assumed" (yes trouble) that a slotted bracket would be open enough to cover this. After getting the brackets I see that the slot does not go down low enough AND you need to grind off the channel tabs. I can't find any brackets that are built for this type of perpendicular assembly. It seems like this would be a common need so I feel like I'm missing something fundamentally simple. Pics below for reference.

    Thanks.

All of the OpenBuilds corner connectors will work.

Cast Corner Bracket - OpenBuilds Part Store Have slotted holes and will work.
If you don't like the tabs they are designed to be broken off with plyers and a simple wiggle back and forth

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies. I have a 28mm bracket instead of a 20mm and that ir what is preventing things from lining up.
